Wild animals in the streets!!!

I was upgrading a low residential area to a high residential, and as usual you get a big stream of new residents coming into the city.
At one point in the city, the cars seemed to stop, wait and move on in the middle of a stretch of road... I soom in and I see a deer eating while 100 cars are lined up passing it one by one after stopping up... clicking on it I iget the info :"Eating"... Then in a nearby parking lot I see a cougar, also eating. I wish the cougar would take out the deer and move on :)
HAve any of you peeps experienced animals blocking your traffic? And a trick to get rid of them :D

I don't think I've ever seen a wild animal.

I love the birds, and the dog walking, but are there really wild animals?

How could I have missed them?

in the map editor you can place animal spawning points

If wildlife are now part or the traffic to, we are doomed. I already have a train track for local commerce, another for extra-city commerce, and a 3rd for passengers. Then I have highways for the industries, the commercial areas... I'm not sure I have enough room for a deer highway !

Just place many parks in a straight lane, and you got a deer highway ;)
