ok so thats strange. i connected more pipes to the already existing pipe network and that seems to have solved it.. so sewage can actually build up if you don't use enough pipes?

More likely, you had two separate networks and linked them together. One of the sections had insufficient sewage capacity.

I'm also having problems with citizens getting ill, it seems like a plague hits my city and lays waste to my city.

Check noise map. Also, check if your water pumps are drawing in polluted water - or if you're using water towers on a polluted ground.
Nosoundpex Legends Mar 22, 2015 @ 11:25am
First of all, make sure that the pumps for fresh water are not downstream from the sewage pumps, otherwise they'll deliver the sewage water to the peopl and that makes them sick. Another thing is, people get sick because it is kinda normal that you get sick sometimes. Make sure that all houses, no matter if eindustrial, bureau, commercial or residantial. All of them need access to heakthcare and all the other stuff.

Noise sickness has an unhappy face with earmuffs so that doesn't appear to be it. How is your trash and corpse removal services? I believe that garbage or dead bodies hanging around too long can cause illness.

I guess that could be a result of untreated water? Build some water towers near unhealthy area and connect them to waterpipes and watch if it has any effect.

You have pollution in the drinking water. Where is your water pumping station? Downstream from the sewage station? I see one upstream on the other side of the river, but do you have another one downstream?

Your citizens are sick due to polluted water. Check your water system again.
Or, post a screenshot of your water system

Yeah, installing a dam reversed the flow of my river making my sewage flow upstream. WHOOPS

I checked every pipe. they're not connected to any garbage site and i use water towers for water so sewer waste cant be a problem. i've checked it many times. perhaps i should post my save game? maybe one of you guys can figure it out because i really have no idea

i have a ton of cemeteries but the bodies keep piling up obviously due to so many sick people.. but the streets are just filled with ambulances and corpse removal services

The polluted water has to come from somewhere. Are all sewage drains functioning properly? Are they powered? Does their capacity match the capacity of inflow water? If it doesn't, the sewage begins to build up inside pipes.

yeah sewage is working fine, i mean they're all powered and connected, i dont have a water pump thats taking in the sewage either. and i 've got plenty of sewage capacity.

Also, if my sewage is the problem, shouldn't all of my citizens experience this? not just a small part of the town?

Are any of your water towers close to industrial land?
MP Mar 22, 2015 @ 12:41pm
Hm, now that I looked closer at your pollution map, the sewage pipes are visible and are colored in brown. On my city with 0% water pollution, none of the pipes show.

There IS sewage building up in pipes, definitely. You should investigate this thoroughly.
Mansen Mar 22, 2015 @ 12:43pm
I'm guessing you've placed pumps and sewage outlets somewhere in the city that aren't actually connected up to the entire system - thereby giving you a false usage/capacity statistic on your water overlay screen.
