holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. WOW, and awesome
Make first length 2 blocks long, you want the half circle at the end of the road intersect the block length line.
Move another 2 lengths at a right angle, this time the road tool will show you its end line, match that to the 2 block length. PRESTO, a perfect 1/4 circle.
Meh, I was to slow =)
My method works without the X guide and is super simple and 4 times faster once you work out that you only need to match the half cirle to the grid line on the first 1/2 of the curve tool.
Another good one is to make some custom assets of various sized roundabouts, then just plop them in.

But anyway... if that's something to you, you could also look for the mod *precision engineering* or something like that ;-)
Hope it will go along your needs
Seriously... what surprises me, is that it works as nicely as a more *grid* city... I was expecting far more issues... lol
