not all is in the editor though, i think.
I assume those can then be put in your own cities?
EDIT: My cousin has a student trial of 3D's Max, could that be used to import buildings? Or do you need to use Sing Blender only?
Cool, thanks.
Okay, cool. I am thinking of gifting this to my cousin as b-day present, he likes city building games and he doesn't have this one yet. Just thought I'd ask to see if you can do custom stuff, as he has done a few of his own creations, particularly in Sim City 4 and 3000.
Oh, and I meant that HE has a student version of 3D's Max, not me. Whoops, typo. I edited it above.
he can do much more than just change the looks of things. not quite sure what the requirments for modding actual game mechanics and stuff are.(not as easy as custom buildings) custom code is/will be supported which means programming skills might be nice.
So outside of a 3D's Max environment, how much can you do with the in-game editor?
i haven't played around with it alot, so i don't feel confident providing a list. as in, one thats supposed to be complete.
Ah, okay. That's alright. Thanks though. :)
ow and the maps ofcourse

Eh, that's not so bad. SimCity 2013 was kinda like that. Although, there might have been more micro-management because of the many modular buildings you could add to.
