Well Cities XXL was a flop....
so now this game is the only city builder being released in the near future. Don't let us down guys :( I had enough faith to pre-order this so hopefully we won't be disappointed.

What? You didn't like your $20 patch? Don't worry, Cities XXXL will be out soon for another $20 to fix the UI glitches,

Soon? No way, they have to put out Cities XXL 2016, Cities XXL 2017 and CitiesXXL 2017 Titanium first!

So. Option 1. Full price game @USD70.00. Expansions @ USD30.00
Option 2. Low Base cost to get people into the game. Possible DLC, mostly cosmetic. Plenty of modding support and free downloads.

Option 2 looks like a winner.

BAM! I think you hit the nail on the head!

Cities XXL has twice as much base game content for less price $20, no dlc, plenty of modding support and free downloads.

BAM looks like option 3 is a winner. ;)

I looked at XXL.. Almost bought it. I had the original one ( the one before the 30%or50% off for owners.can't remember discount) I thought it was ok but not the same type of game. Not sure it's apples to apples. One is plop buildings the other is make zones and most grows. I dunno XL for me was a long time ago. Cities skylines seems more along the lines of simcity. I,could be wrong about the xl series since I did not buy the other 2 xls after the original so... Can anyone comment on the difference between cities xl 2011- xl2012 -xl platinum...

They're all the same after Cities XL 2011. All they did was add a few buildings with each iteration.

Is this game going to have it like Cities XL or SimCity where cars just magically disappear halfway down the street? That crap is annoying especially if you were following the car (Cities XL).

Cars park on the side of the road, unless a building is large enough to include a parking garage. http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/255710/ss_2cd47ef237ba1393e94bbc1f350119c4a9d7fa32.1920x1080.jpg?t=1423601803

Well I think that they said each person is simulated so he lives in a certain house and goes to a certain job so I hope the traffic represents that. I'm sure they will pop in and out maybe from thier starting point and at thier destination but I'm guessing.
