Not sure if to buy the Deluxe Edition.
I practicly bought all the DLCs and expansions for the latest SimCity and I was extremly dissatisfied. I'm not afraid to say that I also get caught by the Maxis promisses. That game is not working properly until now.
So at the moment, I am quite afraid to invest my money to all the DLCs in Skylines and I am really not sure if the Deluxe edition is really worth it.
There are building within the base game that provides the same bonuses / stat as these monuments. So by buying the standard / base game you are not missing out on anything. These are purely optional conrent ment for the enthusiasts who would like to add more cosmetic variety.
I believe they are following the standard paradox method that CK2 and EU4 follows. There will be DLC and free updates to add additional content to the game. But there will also be seperate optional cosmetic DLC's that don't provide any bonuses to the game, but just make it look pretty and help support further free patches and updates.
From a gameplay POV you won't miss out on much if you get the standard edition. So do what feels best for you!
I reckon it's in the highest quality we can provide, not sure if that means completely lossless. Let me get back to this.
A Brit monument would be nice. Maybe Big Ben or Stonehenge.
So yea, I will be throwing them the extra $10 for being a company that is making a game for gamers and not just to make a wad of quick cash.
Paradox is an awesome publisher, and Collosal Order makes great games. I loved CIM2 btw, and I know your Cities Skyline is going to be just as great.
One last thing CO, way to really show what the unity engine can do.
