Asset Editor - Rails / Train Station

So I was interested in creating some assets for train stations and rail interchanges. More specifically I wanted to create a station with more than two platforms, but I can't place rails in the editor.

I hope there are plans to add more tools to the editor, such as rails etc.

to make 2 platforms, you would need 2 stations anyway as the game doesn't support it I don't think. I would like to do the same with busses so implemented it with a series of roads full of bus stops. kinda looks real.

Damn that's a shame. I wanted to make something like Paddington Station in London.

i agree, however i know there are higher priorties than tweeking the sytems that are already in game.
i have high confidence that improving mass transit is somewhere on the list of things to do.
at least we have SOMETHING that we can use now.

So, what did you expect just out of interest?

I really enjoying the public transport and could maybe do a few tweeks but pretty happy over here. That doesn't mean there isn't room for improvment :)

there is a mod called no pillars wich lets you place railroad in the asset editor
