Easy way to modify bus routes?
As I add to my town, I want to modify existing routes to serve new areas, is there an easy way to do that without the game autocompleting my route?

I'm finding the bus route tool a bit fiddly, getting frustrated with the auto aspect of it taking me down roads I don't particularly want to include on my route.

I found that if you keep the bus route tool to the right side of the road (or left for left handed traffic), it's a lot easier to place.

Not sure what you mean by auto completing. You can extend the route by adding new stops to it.

hover your mouse on and near the line/ or a stop and a little popup says what you do to add stops etc.

go in bus tool and line:
-then drag the line to the side to make a new stop.
-drag a stop to move it to somewhere else
-right click to delete stop

also to modify a bus line for colour. click on a bus then modify and choose colour(pause game helps here)

What I mean is, I had a bus route that linked two residential areas and two schools and did a U turn at a cemetery, because at the time the cemetery was in a cul-de-sac. Then I added that area to the grid system I'm building to, so I thought, logically this bus should now serve the houses that have gone up near there so I clicked on the last stop before the U-turn and tried to move it, but the game re-routed that bus from where I moved the stop to and joined it up with the rest of the route that I'd set before. I wanted to make that whole section of the route new, but from experience if I delete a stop I can't seem to add it back in again

you have to drag the line in between the last old stop and the next old stop, repeat for every stop you want to add.

Edit: works the same for metro and trainlines

Is anyone else unable to move bus or train stops using click-and-hold after the bus line is set up? On a new line, I have no problem placing and then moving the stops. But once it's set, all that happens when I click-drag on a bus stop dot is the little bus line info window pops up. Right-clicking to delete stops doesn't seem to work for me either. Any ideas?

(Specs: MacBook with trackpad + mouse. Mods: first-person camera, tree brush, automatic bulldoze, no more purple, no pillars, fine road heights, road protractor, terraform tool, 25 spaces, flexible slope limiter.)

I've got the exact same problem. I can't drag the lines and I can't find an 'edit line' button.
Edit: Got it, you have to be in bus station building mode.
