[Request] Clean Tweets Up
The tweet feature is an ok idea but it is filled with nonesense. I don't want to here "Have you lost your wallet" every 15 minutes. Before any quick comments fly back, I know there is a mod to disable it completely but read on to understand my request fully :)

The tweet system would be great if it only gave feedback when citizens were unhappy about something or wanted something new.

If this is changed to be a better notification system as to what is happening in your city it would be much better. Need more schools, need more police, we have no where to build homes, traffic is bad, where are all the busses, who turned off the lights.

All of the above are the types of things we should see in the tweet/notification system. Useful bite size chunks of data that helps us identify with problems in our city. Not worthless tweets like "Have you lost your wallet" every 15 minutes amongst many other worthless tweets which deem this feature more of a pain to use rather than an aid which i'm sure it was intended to be.

Having to constantly switch between all the infograph data panes is a tedious task, I would prefer to get a notification in the tweets complaining of traffic then i can go check the infograph view for traffic to find where the problem is but currently i have to keep checking all the infographs periodically just to make sure things are running smoothly.

Psh... some people have no humor. It's worked for Simcity for decades - Don't fix what ain't broken is what I say.

Yeah, getting all this police has cells free notifcations every time because of my 4 % crime rate is fine, but clogg up the tweet list unnessary same for free public transport or other stuff that is exepional, I know already that I am doing good, I need more tweets about my 20 % empty household in high density residential and why people want more job when the actal jobs can't be filled. #Fullemployment

I agree, the inane garbage that spews forth reminds me of those distracting non messages that seem to dominate Britain's electronic signposts on the motorway network- nothing more than a frustrating distraction. Humour? No thanks I just want to build my city not be bombared by cringeworthy continental european humour which fails everytime. At least there are no zombies giant robots lizards or spaceships!

Sim City has other means of reporting issues in a more easier to reach method such as info bubbles above sims that pop up at the points in the city that problems are happening. That doesn't exisit in cities skylines unless you click on citizens/buildings individually which is also tedious and not a friendly game mechanic.

What benefit or gameplay joy does being repeatly told "Have you lost your wallet" every 15 minutes add to the game. If anything it's negative that the same thing repeats over and over again. If someone tweeted me the same message over and over I would block them lol

Bump! As of November 2018, I'm still seeing that damned 'Wallet' tweet every 10 minutes or so.
Pops Nov 18, 2018 @ 12:13am
Then turn the damn thing off, which I have done, instead of complaining.

Oh, I wasn't talking to you, Pops. Thanks though.

Bumping for 2020. Just started this game, and wow, those tweets are so potentially useful but wasted on annoying messages about wallets and police renting cells.
Get the mod "Birdcage" on the workshop.

To keep an eye on (most of*) the relevant information, use Watch It Mod - green icons = all's well, yellow = still ok but could be bad anytime soon, red = lack of something.
Then get rid of the bird altogether.

*) Some things are missing like the new elder/childcare stats and mail coverage info for industries DLC
