You unlock by reaching mile-stones, you can see how far you got to go for the next in the bottom left.
To reach mile-stones, you have to get the reqiured population.
You'll crash before you run out of space with the 25 slot mod. But you have 115k pop with just 5 slots? My city has 57k with 8 slots unlocked lol.
Yeah I'm hoping I will be able to get a new PC later in 2015, my game is lagging pretty bad as it is now.
Is it more about CPU grunt, how much RAM, GPU performance or combo? (ie, what's the bottleneck that causes a "non-beefy" computer to not be able to handle the full 5x5).
Can we try and determine a benchmark for the specs of a PC able to go the full map size?
(Not have game yet <sad>, but gaming rig = i5-4690K, 16 GB RAM, GTX770 4GB vRAM, Win7 + Steam on SSD, community reckon that do it?)
What determines whether your PC can handle a bigger population? CPU or Graphics Card?
You'll be able to run it good, I have to play on low with 15 FPS, and I'm only on 8 slots and 58k pop lol.
Look up "All Spaces Unlockable" in the workshop...
Highest rated mod so far too.
