Cannot replace bulldozed train track??
i bulldozed some train track that was already existing on the map when i started, and now there is no way to replace it becuase track is blacked out in the train menu. I dont have a need for a train station yet, so how do i place a track without having to do that???

You can't build Highways or Railroads until you've unlocked them at their respective population levels - Highways can be an annoyance to accidentally delete, but Railroads are not an issue since you can't use them at all anyway (yet)

You can never completely destroy the railroad - There will always be a connection to the outside of the buildable grid that will serve as your connection to the outside.

ive unlocked the train stations though, i just havent used them yet. the train track i removed was already existing on the map section when i bought it, and i wanted to re-route it after i laid a highway entrance.

When the train stations get unlocked, it should also unlock just the track pieces as well for instances like this.

Build a train station - This unlock railroads.

Unfortinitly there is no way to build rail without building a railway first, so if you want to rebuild the tracks you will have to either build a cargo or passenger tran station, but until you do it's not a big deal since if you don't have a cargo train station you can not get good in via train anyways and the tracks are just there to connect to once you can, so it only hurts you asteticly until you actually build something that uses rail.

ok, thanks. I saw trains go by on it, so thought maybe i was missing out on something. I have now laid down a cargo station, and was able to repair the track now.

I forgot to mention that if you didn't want trains but wanted to fix it because it was visually bugging you if you pause the game, lay down a train station anywhere and then automaticly delete it before unpausing the game you should get a full refund on the building while still gaining access to laying tracks.

Again until you use cargo and passenger train stations the tracks are mearly cosmetic, but that would be a way to fix that without lossing money building something you don't want to fix it.
