No people moving in
I have started over 5 cities is all different areas and every single time I go bankrupt because not one person moves in. I have yet to reach a population over 0. I supply water and electricity needs. There is commercial and industrial and plenty of residential. The residential demand goes up but nobody moves in. Can anyone help me?

Yes, build a connecting road to your highway entrance. People move in from other areas, and they travel to your city via the highway which needs to connect to your road.

Are your highway connections hooked up correctly? Do either of them still have the unlinked road symbol floating over them?

No all my highways are linked up

Post a screenshot because what you describe is what happens when no one can get into the city.

Did you somehow build a one-way road in the wrong direction?

Is your game still paused lol?

Yeah; watch out for the one way road connection. I've done that a few times going thte wrong way to the highway. :)

Also game is not paused
Chickenmaster13 Mar 14, 2015 @ 12:16am
yea I dont have any one way roads
rovaira2 Mar 14, 2015 @ 12:18am
You'll need two roads connecting to the hightway. One goes in one direction (the offramps), the other goes in the other direction.

Is your residential zoned next to the road? Buildings can only be built 4 squares away from the road.

This is copied and pasted from another forum:

In the game, press F12 to take a screen shot.

Then press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screen shot. Make it public.

In your post, just include the URL of your screen shot (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=..."). Steam will automatically notice that's a screen shot and include the thumbnail and link to the full-size image. (You can find the correct link on your screenshots page; select CONTENT from the menu with your username.)

Maybe this can help you:

I'm not sure if you can see this or not though. I connected a road to both ramps. I also have a road between the two to connect them together.
