[MAC] Problems with Radeon 6750M (Late 2011)
I have a MacBook Pro Late 2011 with a Radeon 6750M / HD 3000.

When I launch the game with the Radeon 6750M in OSX the brightness/contrast is incredibly low, when pressing on "New Game Menu" or in the game itself with the 2D UI Elements. With the HD 3000 I have no problems (beside the performance).

Does anyone have an idea?

Edit: There is no problem on bootcamp (Windows 7).

Immatoll, I too have the same notebook as you (late 2011, 15") and I'm running into the same problem. I was wondering if this is an isolated incident/problem. Thank you for speaking out about this.

same problem early 2011 MBP Radeon 6750m game is too dark.

I'm having this problem too with Radeon HD 6970 on Linux. Any workaround to adjust the brightness?

On Windows 7 (Bootcamp) I have no problems. That is the only workaround yet. :(

Ackh! I'd prefer not to boot into Windows. Let's just keep making noise about it until it's fixed :)

I have the same problem on my iMac as well, mine is the mid 2011 i5 with the Radion graphics card, the game is very laggy although it will get better and worse as the game progresses.

also, the screen is very dark, you can only just see the icons on it.

I thought that the performance was bad because my mac wasn't powerful enough however other mac users have reported thatwhen booting to windows in boot camp it is much better. I have also tried to run the game on my macbook air 2013, which is much less powerful and the game runs great.

So it seems that the issue is with the iMac graphics cards on OS X only.

Same issue here. I am running on an iMac mid 2010 with OS X 10.10.3. Game runs pretty well, but very dark. Graphics card is a Radeon HD 5750. I have bootcamp installed and running Windows 8.1, but would prefer to run the game natively on OS X. Here's hoping they find a solution.

I am running it on a late 2008 13inch macbook 4GB RAM OSX Yosemite All lowest settings and no problems- no serious overheating- a bit of lag- perfect colour balance/brightness- I'm gobsmacked

Still broken after first patch. Maybe just add brightness and contrast settings to the graphics menu in the game?

Yes, the first patch was disappointing, although according to the paradox forum CO are aware of these problems and are working to resolve it, so fingers crossed

I can confirm this works, the jury is out on the FPS, but the dark screens are definately resolved
