Coal plant - not enough fuel ?
How do I solve this issue ? All my four coal plants powered down waiting for fuel...

Traffic must be too heavy, the trucks are not delivering the goods in time.

oh crap its true, the whole first section of the town is completely densed with traffic.
Would it help to connect more roads to the highway so that it doesn't all clog up in one ?

get rid of the whole loop asap and connect multiple regular 6 lane roads to the highway asap.

It's better to relocate the power plant to somewhere easily accessed from the highway, or the local resources if you have that industry in your city.
I put the power plant right next to the highway exit :p

Relocating buildings in this game is cheap, unlike SimCity.

I'll try this. omg there's so much that needs to be fixed to get some control of this traffic jamming up. I think I did the mistake of immediately building residents and shops right at the beginning of where the first highway connection at the start of the game. Now it's all jamming up right at the start

yeah, dont do that, u need lots of highways not just one entrance...

things seem to have calmed down a bit. Connected a few more highways and moved the power plants closer to the city

once the traffic started to ease up a bit I got flooded with garbage instead.
These landfill sites get full so quickly whats the deal, how do I keep these dirty sites going ?

unlock the incinerator and it will just burn the trash no need for more landfills i thinl its about 7k population to unlock it
Ehsan Mar 13, 2015 @ 5:38am
it doesnt seem to help much though, i have incinerators right next to the landfills, hey're still clogging up

Just get rid of your landfills, by first getting several more incinerators and then eampty the lanfills before demolishing. Incinerators and landfills compeat for trash, and don't properly bias to the incinerator. This is due to the low number of trcks the incinerators have, I think.

This cannot be stressed enough!! It works and solved all of my trash issues.

I would give the trucks a separate shortcut from outside highway directly to the area with the coal plants. They calculate route depending on which way is shortest, so you must make sure it is shorter than any route for this to work. Also will help to have the coal plants in a more separate area where there is not already alot of congestion.

thanks for the tips, I'll try replacing most of the landfills (I have 7 and 20k population) with incinerators.
