Your dead need to be picked up by hearse's and brought to a cemetery. The cemetery and the incinerator spawn hearse's, and their ability to pick up your dead citizens is controlled by traffic congestion. If you have a ton of cemeteries and they still aren't picking up all your dead, it is probably because traffic is inhibiting them from doing so. :medkit:

same problem hear i have plenty of places for the dead to go but they still pile up

I have a problem where my city had 93,000 people, and in the span of 15 minutes 13,000 of them died. My entire map is covered in dead bodies and no amount of hearses could possibly pick them all up.

Your traffic is the primary cause of this most of the time. That said, Jimmy if your city has 13k people die in 15 minutes you should increase your health care. Or boost your budget for herses...

No it was all fine, health was 85%, roads were clear, cemetaries and crematoriums were mostly empty, I think it glitched out, I saved, quit and reloaded and it's all better now. Got an influx of 800 people per week as they move back in to all the recently vacated premises.

I have the same problem... about 30k people in my city and 3 (not full) cemeterys and 4 crematorys, but the dead stacked in the street. Despite a working health care system with good %'s.....

Something which I had to learn was the percentages could lie, especially with health. Look at buildings that are red (heart view), and solve the problems making them red. This is most notably from pollution. Surround objects that pollute with non-living space tiles (such as offices) to leave a buffer between the polluting object and living spaces. Also consider moving polluting objects away from your city, an example is moving your trash incinerators far away from town. My towns health is above 95% which is about the only sustainable level because traffic would cause 1 problem to turn into 30k.

The stacks of bodies is actually a result of the design. When you found your city everyone who first settles will be about the same age. So, after a while you will start seeing mass die offs as your early adopters kick the bucket. Or sometimes don't. Your cemetaries and creamtoriums will sometimes gather living people before they die too...which is terrifying if you think about it. The strange thing is, nobody ever dies at the hospital. At least I have never seen that happen. So if you want to be imortal in this game, never leave the hospital.

I have the same exact problem and it's not because of traffic. There are some places that have a cemetery right next door to them, and the dead bodies don't get picked up. That is with only about 2/10 hearses being in use.

I even tried to download a cemetery cheat that had a bunch of hearses and citywide coverage, but dead bodies still aren't being picked up.

I think this is a bug.

Traffic, that is all.

Like I said, the cemetery is right next door on the same street which is clear. Traffic isn't the issue.

My population health is also at 70%
