Parts of city not getting electricity?
Anyone else having an issue with this? I'm close to 3500 pop. I have a coal plant and a couple water turbines that are placed in a max power generating area. Everything is connected within the blue area or has power lines running to it. My power bar is 1/2 into the green yet I still have houses that say they are getting no power.

*Fixed* My wind turbines weren't connecting to the grid. Their power production was shown but it wasn't actually going anywhere. Lesson learned lol.

Sounds like you haven't connected everything together. Perhaps you have two seperated areas and one has more power then it needs and one has not enough power. The power meter only shows your region wide power output and consumption. It doesn't specify that every area has access to the amount of power it needs.

Hmm, is there a way to see a more localized power requirements? Most of my city is in a concentrated area, at least the part that is having trouble is. The houses in question are within the big blue bubble area of my town where other buildings are working just fine.

Best to get in the habit of connecting isolated grids with power lines. This way one area can feed another area if their output is low.

Pics help, but make sure you're power output is still in the green and now falling towards yellow on the scale.

Could you share a savegame? I have a feeling that the problem lies in obscured areas.

Not too sure how to do that but there isn't anything more to my city other than what is shown in the picture. The power plant is right below where the picture cuts off along the waters edge. One set of lines goes straight up to the main part of town and the other cuts across my water pumping stations and then up.

My wind turbines weren't actually connected to the grid. So while their power was being shown in my electricity production, it wasn't actually going anywhere. I updated my OP
