Now you can just keep building the road.
Please read my post it was easy to understand that i already can raise them.
I use the pg up but if you run the road over another it tries to force it down and connect with the road below.
I turned off the snap on and tried all the forms for road building they all want to auto connect.
btw i am talking about running in the same direction not just passing over it.
I was just trying to help.
he was complaing to me lol...
no that was not aimed at you the person who posted before you
And to make sure you el comprendo - Place the top of the ramp BEFORE crossing the road/rail/whatever, then place another one on the OTHER side and then finally ramp down again.
just build the road section that you want to go over the other road.
you can build roads in the air without starting on the ground. Just build on one side of the underpass road and drag over tot he other side. This is not a hard concept.
So let me explain.
I have a long 2 lane road going straight say almost the length of 1 whole map section.
I want to run a 4 lane road elevated for the majority of that 2 lane road but at some point before the end turn left.
My issue is that running from before the 2 lane road all the way up and vering left in 1 go just gets the red something is in the way. If i try to place small parts at a time it only wants to force a down ramp onto the road below.
Just stretch it out till the supports are in a free part you can delete the overhead afterwards, if you have a wide street and no place for supports you might have a problem, can you maybe make a screenshot?
this is what i mean

you cannot build a elevated road above a road. not build even a dirt road under an elevated road.
i guess i wanted to do something similar to this.

Here in japan it`s very common. but you cannot do a single road under there are places like that near me.
and it`s extremely hard to do on the side like in this link it has to ctick out very far and requires ripping up half the town around it.
Oh now I get what you wanted to do. Yeah I dont think that is possible, you could try to create something like that in the asset editor to use it ingame though.
yeah i tried that but the same road rules apply.
I wonder why the roads are so limited in this game.
been a while since i played cim 2 but i was sure there was a lot more options.
Kinda hope they release an update to have more choices on roads.
That is one thing that cities xl has over this game.
road limits are a bit of a deal i think stops from making a certain types of cities.
i guess best i can do is wait for road mods.
