Where are mod files stored?

Just wondering where mod files are stored after subscribing. I don't see anything in the steamapps folder or the Local/Roaming AppData folders, dispite there being folders labeled Mods, they are empty or only contain the default mods.

Nevermind i found it. They are in steamapp\workhop\content

yes but where? I just see numbers and looking through the folders find my Skyrim mods but no cities skylines mods.

The Gamesaves are located around Taettes path, but yea workshop content is different

I'm trying to get my city as big as I can on vanilla, then make a backup save, then I will load mods

Thank you so much. After my university courses ended for the winter I wanted to start playing this again, but when i tried it installed all of my old mods - which promptly broke the game - badly. Hours of frustration later I was at wit's end before I found this thread. Thank you again!
