"Sewage backing up" - too far from drain pipe, need some help. (Fixed)
Basically, some parts of my city are far away from the river, and I haven't unlocked the water treatment plant. While I can place a water tower near the town to reach what the pump can't, I can't do the same with sewage. The volume is supported, electricity and funding are all great, but the game decided that poop wouldn't travel so far to the drain pipe, which can ruin this save if this will not be figured out soon.

Edit: I just connected the second drainage pump thingy to the network. That worked.

Sewage treatement plants also have to be placed on the shoreline, so this won't solve your problem.

I've got pipes running roughly the full width of a zone from my pumps (both intake and outflow) without difficulty -- are your pipes longer than this?

I just connected a second drain pipe to the network and it increased the range, so the problem is fixed. But it is strange that Mreed's pipes have a huge range while mine don't, even with maxed out funding. Any ideas?

Are you sure you hadn't just reached the capacity for that current pump/drain setup?

Yep, saw the numbers. It wasn't over capacity, but maybe it was close so wasn't working fully? Like I said, adding a second pump fixed the problem, so it's good either way.
i think there is a sense of gravity , so if you pomp water from high to low it works other way around , not that well =)
