Sandbox/Freeplay mode?

Hey guys!

Sorry if this has already been asked. Is there/how do I access a sandbox/freeplay mode? I like to have a test city where I can stuff around with different things to impliment in my legit city, but for the life of me cant figure out how to start a freeplay city.

Any ideas?

You mean like unlimited money and stuff.

Download the mod, infinite money and unlock all.

You don't need to download a mod. Go to "Content manager" from the main menu and select the Unlimited Money and Unlock all items.

Thanks. I had read there was supposed to be a sandbox mode in the game but I didn't see it either.

Not really a 'sandbox'. But can open a city file, and save to a different filename to create a 'copy' that you can experiment with, and not overwrite your original city.

Can try new mods etc with this new save. Nothing you do in copy, will affect the existing save.

... if do go back to the original city, and dont want to use the mods etc, just disable them before loading up the savegame.
