Sandbox / Freebuild?
Greetings, I have a quick and simple question, is there any kind of sandbox of free build game mode? I would like to just build, with everything unlocked from the start. I don't want to play through the game, as in completing bits and pieces to progress. I keep hearing people say they haven't unlocked certain features yet, and that worries me.

Anyways, I am at work so I haven't been able to play yet and see.

Thanks

Yes there is, look in mods. It has 3 with vanilla, one is the one you want. :)

The game comes with 2 already integrated mods which you can activate to play right away. One is for unlimited money and one for all buildings unlocked so yes you can basically play sandbox from the get go.

Thanks! Interesting, so it isn't part of the base game? When you say look in mods I assume you mean the workshop?

Its strange, Unlock Every Item does just that but Infinite Money unlocks everything and gives all items.

Not sure if that's by design or not?

No, you access from the main menu, think its tools > MIDs from memory but I might be wrong.

Can you only choose one at a time? Are you sure you didn't have them both on by accident?

Yeah it's not from the workshop. The game has a menue where you can activate mods, maps etc. from the workshop and the original installation already comes with a few mods such as unlimited money, all buildings unlocked and hardcore mode (whatever that means).

Hard mode makes all the values of the game (costs, how long it takes for stuff to level up, how much you cash make etc) harder, I watched a video and most of the values were around 20% more difficult than standard difficulty.

It moddable though so in theory Super Hard more or even Super Easy mode mods are possible.
