1km x 1km, same as SimCity. But the buildings are smaller and you can buy up to 9 tiles ( 25 with mod).
ah ok, great ! our cities gonna be HUGE to say the least.

As I was watching some twitchers I think 1 tile is about the same as SimCity tile (but you can expand till your PC craps hehe)

No, 9.

2 k x 2k. you can upgrade 8 times for a total of 9 2k x 2 k tiles. That will be 36 k total build space, supported. You can mod up to 25 2k x 2 k tiles, just do not cry on the forums if you go past 9 tiles. As everyone will laugh at you and give you nick name like weasel.

1 tile is actually 2v2km, not 1v1 as stated above.

So 36sq.km once you've unlcoked all 9 allowable tiles.

Hope this helps.

9 squares of 2x2, moddable up to 25 squares. All viewable in their FAQ on their website.

This is the correct answer.

and the initial question to be answered, compared to sc2013 the 2x2 km is little bigger, it looks like it matches exactly but as stated alread, the buildings are little smaller and the size is a quite bigger

Both SimCity and CitySkylines have 2x2 km tiles. The difference is that you can can only have 1 tile in the former and up to 9 (or 25 with modding) in the latter.
