I live in Germany and the only real skyscrapers I've seen are indeed in London, Frankfurt and a few in Berlin. But that's only because they don't obstruct any churches or other historical buildings there. Basically it's almost impossible to find a suitable spot where you're allowed to build skyscrapers like that.
I'm living myself in germany, too - and there is a diffference in "you are not allowed to build skyscrapers in europe" and "you have to meet certain legal requirements to build skyscrapers" (e.g. regarding the historical skyline of a city).
As said: There are various cities in europe which have skyscrapers so your general statement isn't right.
I'm sure therefore you are more experienced with european buildings. Honestly, you need to get educated. We don't live in clay and stone/wood houses. Living in Europe has a lot of benefits. You're just one of the sheeplets who think their country is the best of the world, ruling over all other countries.
Honestly, do you wake up in the morning, stare out of the window and wank to your glorious skyscrapers (according to you, you need these to prove that your country is superior) and think "Oh man, all these yuropoors sitting on their wooden stumps and fighting with swords" or something?
In that case, I hope you don't get shot while trying to buy groceries or robbed for walking down the street in your superior country with the highest amount of crimes on the world.
You're so ignorant, I'm starting to believe you're here just to troll people.
to me, the size of the buildings in CSL and the fact you can space things out more, I think is really good. while I would like to see some really tall buildings, even SC4 city starts to look the same when you got nothing but skyscrapers. (and I did in one city, wall to wall of them.
so some different types of skyscrapers would be nice, but still, I don't think skyscrapers will be a major requirement unless you want a max population size. so the biggest isn't going to be the best.
you must be american "checks, yes he is"
My town existed almost before Columbus discovered America, and our highest building is 4 levels high.
And i live in a developed country, please don´t use America as a measurement tool :)
not all towns/countries want skyscrapers
Obviously never been to Europe, or at least developed parts of Europe
I'm pretty glad theres not as many skyscrapers as some American/Chinese/other cities, they cause such terrible congestion due to the huge population being confined to such a small area
I was a month in Chicago to learn English and lived with a homestay family in a suburb of Chicago (Oak Park) ... those one family houses are all built out of wood and you'd hear every step... It was extremely weird for me as an European, all our buildings are solid stone!
My hometown Berne in Switzerland.

Yes, Europe has not as much high rises as the US, but we almost never use wood for our buildings, we use stone with a legit fundament.
Eh but I think a fun and cool aspect of the game is designing your city, with districts, and properly managing policies, crime etc to create a district proper for skyscrapers rather than simply plopping them :)
