I'm a Mac user and I can definitely say no. Even if you could play the game at minimum settings (which I doubt), you only have half of the RAM needed. Plus, your CPU may be okay for the beginning of the game but you'll run into problems as the game progresses.

Definitely check Mac Game Store, but I'd say don't bother.

Hm I got pretty much the same hardware and macgamestore tells me I would meet the requirements. Did anyone have the chance to test it on a MacBook by any chance?

i got the same specs and it runs on it a bit laggy tho. if i turn everything on low it runs fine and is playable without a doubt. cant say how it runs once your city grows tho.

im still gonna rather play it on my desktop pc than on the macbook

Edit: I ran it with all settings low/disabled and the resolution @ 1280x800

It's working at 20 FPS in low setting with more than 30000 peons ;-)

Iris graphics card is very weak, amazed you managed to get it running! Did you have to perform any magic to achieve that? What screen res are you running at?
