Is there going to be a demo version available?

I've made two times the BIG mistake to buy a game who then turned out to be terrible bad just because I had faith in the developers promises. Lookup "Takedown" on steam... and Elite Dangerous on the web. Luckily I've got a refund for both by making some pressure.

I'm really really teased to pre-order "Cities: Skylines" but from now on I'll be very strict in playing a demo before or "testing" the game "somehow" else before I pay for it. Guess you know what I mean... But I would appreciate an official demo version to try it out before buying it.

You are a little ♥♥♥♥♥ if you're not happy with Elite Dangerous, the only thing we didnt get is the offline play, but who cares its 2015

There won't be a demo available. We have opted to not do this as it would take way, way too much time from our developers that they can spend on polish and bugfixing. We hope that our streams, developer diaries and eventual YouTuber previews will be sufficient information :)

@stay cranked, right it is 2015, not 1984 anymore and there is a ton of other things wrong with that game. But this is not the place to discuss and I dislike your infantile assault on my person without bringing real arguments. Come back if you know how to discuss like an adult.

@{PDX]TotalyMoo thank you for that information. So I'll find another way to play test it. Yes, your dev diaries are awesome and much better than most other developers information and I really like the videos. But sorry, I've lost every piece of faith I ever had in game developers. Especially Frontier Delelopments false advertising and promises (I've been a premium beta baker) really turned me away from buying things blindly, no matter how much I want them.
