Park Life more visitors
Hey guys and girls.
I set up a big inner city park. I have three entrances and enough attractions + park care service. I charge low 10 for entrance but i cant get more people than 50 visitors per week. Is this normal? I thing thats really low visiting.
Also i set up policies for better parks, recycling

Any suggestions for me to increase the visitors?

Thank you all :)

In my experience 50 visitors per week is not bad for a new, growing park. The advertising options do bring in more visitors so be sure to turn those on. Also, make sure you have good mass transit routes to bring both out of town tourists and in town residential residents to the park.

Give it a little time and it should level up.

If you want to share a save game some of the local experts will take a look and offer ideas.

Hey. thanks for your thoughts.
My park is several ingame years old. I have good connections on several entrances. The park also is fully leveld with over 60k visiters in total. Attraction points are 1800 i gues. I try to turn the advertisement on. Maybe it helps.

The amount of visitors is mainly influenced by the size of your city, and the attractiveness of your city. Not the level and attracktiveness of your park.

If you have a city with just this park (no other parks, unique buildings etc.) the amount of tourists visiting your city and therefore your park is low. Also the amount of visitors from your own city is low, because there simply aren't that many.

With a big sized city with lots of other spots for tourists to visit, the amount of weekly visitors is greatly increased.

The effect of policies and advertisement options also have a bigger impact on a larger population, then a small one.

Interesting.
Im currently at 40k citizens in the city. I have no special buildings set nor any tourist buidings. Just my own town citizens. Also i have lots of parks around the city.
My ground price is in 80% of my city on a high level.

In that case 50 visitors is low indeed. Can you make a screenshot of the entire park and its surroundings?

Here are 3 screenshots. One of the complete city, one with zoning on and last with marked spots.

So, i put another park service building nearby and do some advertisement. Im up to 150 visitors now. Dont now if this is still low but better than before.
Invest in advertising your park. Some of the other Park Policies can work too but they're totally optional and situational. The "Tourists visit parks more than Unique Buildings" Policy helps too, so as the one that Boost your Park areas' attractiveness for extra Park Maintenance Building upkeep.

Try putting a fourth entrance next to the metro station.

Let me clarify. Put it right next to the metro station (or directly opposite with a crossing in front).

I had a city with a park that was struggling to get visitors until I built a metro station directly in front of the entrance. The number of visitors then boomed.

Ok, i will give it a try later. I will let you know if it has worked.

which park are u talking about? Pappel? Or Nature Reserve?

The Pappel seems to have only 149 visitors per week but alltogether almost 98000. Is it possible? With only 50 visitors per week before it would take almost 2000 weeks (40 years) to get this number. Or am I getting something wrong? Is this park that old?

IMO, Parklife is a gamebreaker.

Instead of investing in public transport across obstacles like rivers, railways or highways, I just set a park area with gates at both ends. I then set public transport routes to end at each park gate, and a huge number of locals will have no choice but to go through the park to get to the destination (or public transport connection) on the other side. Since locals still need to commute to work, go to school, go shopping or have recreation, I've forced them to pay me more money via parks than via taxes or public transport.
