Game crashes while loading (ANSWER PLS)
I try to load the game several times but get a crash message when the game gets to BuildingManager.InitRenderData. I tried to reinstall the game, but after installing some assets, it starts to crash again.
I didn't turned on/off any mods since the last time when game worked, and I have the Loading Screen Mod

You forgot to post your crash message. We can't help you without it. Be very detailed what is happening before, during and after the error.

I see you have only 8GB of RAM. This is going to be an issue when you have over 80GB of Virtual memory being used. You will be constantly swapping files in and out of RAM.

You really need a RAM upgrade. 32GB is perfect, you can probably get by with 16GB.

In loading screen mod, there are several options.

From "General" tab at the top, scroll down to the "Loading options for custom assets" and make sure you uncheck the "Load Enabled Assets" option.

This will prevent you from loading ALL assets.

Now Make sure you check the mark for the next option called, "Load Used Assets"

This options means it will load only assets that are currently placed on the map.

This should free up a lot of memory, assuming you haven't placed all assets in-game yet.

This should free up enough memory for you to continue your city until you can get more RAM.

Virtual Memory is the total memory used on your system.

You have 8GB of RAM, plus 75GB of page file memory (from your slow computer drives)

This gives you about 83GB of total memory. 8GB + 75GB = 83GB

You cannot add new assets to the game until you upgrade your RAM.

But what should I do if I want to replace all firetrucks and police cars with ones from newly installed assets? The game won't just load the new cars after enabling "Load Used Assets"!

Also, will my CPU (Intel Core i5-9300H) handle 32GB of RAM?

You can ignore my advice, and just have LSM generate a report of what is in your city, and just unsubscribe what you want removed.

But I advise you to unsubscribe only. adding anything more may break something.

Yes, your 9300H should be upgradeable. It sounds like a laptop though, so you may not be able to upgrade to 4-stick of RAM. But you can upgrade to 128GB tops.

Here's the specs from Intel on your CPU:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/191075/intel-core-i59300h-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-10-ghz/specifications.html

Here's RAM specs:
Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) 128 GB
Memory Types DDR4-2666, LPDDR3-2133

Just make sure your RAM is either DDR4 or DDR3. Only one type will work on your laptop.

I already watched my laptop's specifications, and it can support up to 64GB of RAM.
P.S. Not all of my VRAM are solely from my hard drive, 4GB of it are from the SSD (which is used to quickly boot the system up)

Which laptop do you have and what GPU does it have and how much VRAM is on the GPU?

Please post the laptop make and model number. It should be on the sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

When I said VRAM, I actually meant the page file...
I just recalled that VRAM stands for "Video RAM", not "Virtual RAM"...:cta_emo6:
