Mods to choose what building is used?

Hi! I was wondering if there was a mod or anyone is planning on releasing a mod that allows the player to select what buildings is placed down.

I find it annoying when I want to build a nice little street with nice family houses then instead I there are about 5 flats and bright orange houses that don't suit the theme. Or perhaps there's a easier way to control this??
