Page Up/Page Down Not Working Anymore

I'm having a tough time here. Two days ago, my game was working fine and I could build elevated roads without issue. Page up/down worked perfectly fine.

Then today, it no longer works. NO idea why. I've deleted all my mods, all my assets, reinstalled the game, and it still doesn't work. When I try and bind those functions to a different key, the ui gets stuck on "Press any key" and doesn't respond to me pressing any key. Not even mouse clicks register after that, but the field still highlights when I hover over it. It makes no sense. I have to quit the game with CMD+Q in order to get out.

I've tried to use elevation on my existing city and a brand new map. Neither work.

I opened the keyboard viewer and when I press the keys, it shows up as registering perfectly fine, so I know it's not a hardware issue.

I'm super frustrated here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You seem to have a good handle on how to manipulate the pc beyond basic given commands, so I may sound very condescending here, but I promise you it is not meant this way - have you enabled/disabled the number lock? I have played a great many games in the past, and have noticed that some recently, and some as old as 25 years back, would often see the keyboard in a different phase to that of the disk OS; this meant that in this 'simulated' environment of the game, the keyboard would reset so that number lock would get turned off. I also know that many modern systems also do not link the page-keys and paragraph-keys to the number pad, but they still appear on that side of the physical keyboard.

Have you also looked into the region of the keymap? I remember back to very old games that wouold use an EU keymap as opposed to a NA one, and vice versa. This ended up causing a lot of hassle when trying to play the game with a substituted keymap.

is becouse of number lock i have the same problem after i press num lock i can build elevated roads!

If anyone has this problem i found reason. You have mod "move it" which override those buttons. Go to mod (move it) setting and bind some different buttons for move up and move down action, then restart game and enjoy !

I dont understand why but I'm still having problems with this, I tryed the numlock thing, the changing hot keys, even disabled the move it mod but it still wont work. I can build metro underground, but normal roads wont do it, and the page up wont work either...
