Know of any good water mods?

Hello,

So the map I'm currently playing on has an area of water with virtually no current. I stupidly didn't check this before I plonked a few sewage outlets there early on in the game. Now I have a beautiful big city with a lovely view of the ocean but...a massive stretch of that ocean is actually poo.

Do you know of any mods that can create water sources so that I can get a current going pushing the nastiness out towards the sea? (I tried the Tsunami mod but that was a bit of a nuclear option) or a mod that can scrub away the pollution?

Thanks for your help - the OCD side of me is looking at that mess and finding it almost unbearable.

I'll take a look - I'm guessing I would need to sculpt the terrain to get the water flowing a bit more enthusiastically. But if anyone knows of a mod that can create a water source - that'd be swell. Thanks Mr E.

+ Ofc some nice water tower assets ;-) that you can find easely on the workshop. Like the one from Drozoliva (or something like this... lol )

They are ;-) currently playing on a European map, where no rivers flows... lol and did not want to drop any poo inside my nice bay area ;-p

BUT you could try (to avoid any restart..) READ CAREFULLY...

CREATE A TOTALLY SEPARATE water plubings... this one WILL NOT reach your city... If you do reach your city, you'll have sick peoples.

Soak up your poo water with water pumps WHERE water is polluted, and on that plumbing loop, drop those asstes of water treatement plants... MAYBE (I say maybe as I never tried it) if you drop enough water pumps, you will create that current to drain that poo, and end up with clean water instead...

If that was Cliffside Bay, by all means still use the assets BonPadre suggested above (I almost always use the Eco Friendly Sewage Facility on any map) and since that map has some nice high clifftops, these work nicely,well away from any pollution of course.

BonPadre's draining solution works just fine. There's even people get those idea and turn into a unlimited hydro-power source. He used terrain tool to make a isolated pool with level diffrence at the side or away from river and drained poo on upstream, used that to power hydro-power plant, sucked all that from downstream to drain back to upstream by isolated drain pipe.

So, yes, you can drain poos from river where there is no flow, as water sucking actually makes a slow flow towards water pump, and poos actually can be pumped by water pump.

just remember to pump into isolated drainage or eco-friendly treatment plants, and no connection to city watar pipes.

I hope you could save your savefile with this info.
