Missing Nuclear Power Plant
MISSING:
  • 1 (one) tan and grey Nuclear Power Plant.
  • Answers to the name of Nuke Plant.
  • Very heavy and doesn't move much, or at all really (how it got away is still being investigated).
  • Is friendly and great around children.
  • Reward of $200,000.
If you have any information, please do not hesitate to contact me via PM. If you have Nuke Plant, please give it a lot of water until I can get it. Nuke drinks a lot.

I'm sorry, I know that was kinda stupid, I couldn't help it. :D

Seriously though, my nuclear power plant has disappeared from my game. Everything else works fine.

It didn't happen until I subcribed to a nuclear power plant on the workshop. Even after I unsubscribed the default nuke plant is still not there.

Every other type of power plant (as well as any other building type for that matter) I get off of the workshop shows up and works fine.

Anyone know what's going on? I'm asking here first so I don't accidently do anything stupid trying to fix it and end up screwing something else up in the proccess.

Well I feel kinda silly now. That's usually the go-to thing for me when games goof up since I got Skyrim. I'll do that now, lol. Thanks for reminding me.

That was the original plan never an option, my good sir! How could you suggest that I would even briefly think of such a wonderful horrible idea!

I merely wanted to create a large source of weapons grade plutonium clean energy for my people!

Unfortunetly, verifying the cache didn't do anything other than messing up one of the mods I got (V10Siren. It replaced my custom sirens with the ones that came with the mod O_o). Tried removing all my mods for power as well. Still don't have that nuclear plant back.

Any other ideas short of uninstalling/reinstalling the game?

Uninstall absolutely all the mods first, and delete mod files. Then after that, verify game integrity, twice. Then start a vanilla game and see if the power plant is there. I suspect it will be.

However, it might be missing from your save game, as the save file might be corrupted, depending on how the game requests sprites.

Sweet! I got it back now!

It was a combination of a corrupt save and corrupt installation kinda like what ya said, Drake.

I thought about it after reading what you said and decided to say "screw it" and re-install the game and remove all my mods. Good thing there's an "unsubscribe all" button, I REALLY didn't want to remove about 420 mods one at a time.

Anyway, thanks for the help! Now to see what else I can screw up! ^_^
