How do I get & install patches?

Probably a simple answer to this but, I don't know Steam very well and can't find what I'm looking for. Recently Bought Cities:Skylines DeLuxe, really enjoying it too.

Problem is, I keep reading about it (tips and tricks), lots of mention of patches 1.1.1b & 1.1.1c, I can't find anywhere in the program menus which tells me if these are installed. Searching reveals lots of information about the patches but, can't find an actual link to download them if I don't already have them.

Any help and advice greatfully received, many thanks in advance.

Steam will autoupdates the game by default. You can see in the start screen the version of your game if it is up to date

Thanks for the reply, can't see it in the startup screen but, I'll assume Steam have done their job and updated my copy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. There is no clue in Steam as to whether the patches have been applied, nor can I find anywhere that says which version of the game I'm running. I find Steam the most inscrutible game-playing system.

Steam shows you if any updates in your Downloads section, and the version number is displayed in the bottom right of the menu screen.

Thank you Borgana and Cruiser !! There is ''seemingly'no way I can check and see that the latest patches have downloaded and applied I can see the version of my game 1.17.1-f4 but that does NOT say the latest patch(es) are or are NOT applied. This is very poor change control and release management and Collosal Order just leave us in the dark. No I'm not a mushroom.

1.17.1-f4 is the most current version.

Paradox will post about their patches (with the version number) in some area of this game on steam. I've only been playing for a few months, so I dont know about the long term past, but it seems as if there aren't secret patches.
