Stuck on NIGHT!
See subject: Turned night and now it won't go back to day. Been stuck there for over an hour. How to get out of it.

For that matter how do I turn it off? I hate the sickly yellow street lighting. It's ugly and depressing. I haven't seen a yellow tinted street light since I was a boy in the 50's.

All very interesting and one even a bit humorous. Doesn't answer the question though...

How do I get day back?

Looks like you should call it a day...

Norway is yellow streetlights really common. I have barely seen any white/blue streetlights and that is commonly on parkinglots on certain buildings and stores. All roads use yellow. And i like it. The only thing i don't like is that polluted water affects the air above to much. Like i have a pollutet river and the bridge above it is covered in dense air. And those dense airs may be supposed to look realistic but it's to much. It makes my eyes hurt. It's a way to dense.

Did you find a solution? I've got the same problem. I think it came from "rush hour" when I started playing with the "time" thumbnail. I've now disabled the mod but it's now stuck at night.

There is a mod you can use to control the time. I think it's called time warp. Install it and try setting it back to daytime.

Thank you FroschGames, I'm gonna try it.
At least, day light is back had to restart it twice in order to get it back.

I love yellow street lights, many streets still have them as they are more pleasant on the eyes than your modern halogens.

Hmm, I thought I saw somewhere in the settings where you could disable the day/night cycle. Honestly, why did they even bother having it?

Huh? For realism? Leisure would not be a thing either if there was no night.

Looking at your city at night is beautiful, only if your city looks good at night that is.

People were constantly requesting a night mode, so we got it, thankfully.

Realism? The cycle would go by so fast it would be like a damn strobe light.
All night does for me is make it difficult to see where to align roads and zone properly.

What do you mean? Takes like an hour to get to sunrise for me...

Or I can just zoom through it with mods if I'm in the middle of building...

Building at night does suck, I admit.
