Hard to build at night
Everything so dark, is impossible to properly see trees, water, etc

Is there a hotkey that enables some ideal infoview that stays on when placing zones and roads?

Ideally, a mode similar to the electrical infoview should activate with roads.

Thanks!

Just wait until daylight comes back, or pause the game and build what you need during daytime.

Use the traffic veiw. It is only automatic with tunnels.

This is not a solution. A gameplay mechanic that prevents from building (in a city game) 50% of the time is poor design.

How it wasn't obvious? That not everybody will like the night time when you literaly can't see anything, it's very difficult to build and planning, at least brightness should customizable.

I don't understand why they didn't add a choice menu : day/night cycle, always day, always night.

that way you can first build a city and when that is up an running you can view your city at night. in the beginning there is nothing to view and the dark is annoying.

I understand that at night different things happen with the game, like the night life. but it still could be 'night' when you select always day. if someone knows what I mean ;)

probably a mod can fix this?

There's a switch in gameplay settings to enable/disable day/night cycle

ok, I just noticed you can switch off the day/night cycle in the options/gameplay settings ;)

This a "non problem". Firstly, those pedants out there who want an accurate city builder would NEVER build during the night! Also simple solution 1. Pause the game in daylight hours and build until your little heart is content OR simple solution2, take some time to find out a bit more about the new dlc and switcch the night mode OFF. Common sense?

1. No. Limiting planning to 50% of the time is ridiculous

2. Why buy a DLC and leave it off? Again, ridiculous

No need to be so much "In your face".

Also, traffic view is of a horrible, pale colouring. It makes no sense to activate that one. Not to mention you cannot lay roads with the info active

I guess "reality is also poorly designed. What do think?
