Highway Median Metro Station
So I've been building a highway in my city modeled off of the I-90 in Chicago. What's cool about this highway is that it has the CTA Red Line running down the middle and above ground. The way that these stops work (like with Sox/35th, Cermak Chinatown, Garfield, etc) is that the train simply stops in the middle of the highway on a platform and everyone walks up the stairs and onto the road that bridges over the sunken highway. Is there any way to mimic this in CS with MOM? I've been trying for hours now and I haven't been able to find anything of use on the workshop or with Move-It (because they need road connections). Any insight would be much appreciated!

You need to use a suitable station, use road anarchy - to get past the must build roadside problem - and use pedestrian bridges like this:

That's a good idea! So would I use the deck as the station platform? How will I get thing to be actually functional?
If you've a screenshot or a google maps link to the example you're describing that might be a bit easier to help with for us from abroad? c;

I've done similar in the past, but not with the highway perfectly straight or at the same grade as I think you've described. I reckon you could do the grade separation with just Move It! but you might need to make the highway wider to fit.

That's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm wanting the highway to continue going straight on without having to curve around other wonky roads. Here's the link you asked for.

Looks cool!

I'm sure you could do a lot better with custom roads and anarchy etc, but here's something I threw together with Fine Road Tools and Network Extensions 2.

Limitations:
- To preserve the topography, I don't think there's a way to get around having the station connected to the highway; it still needs to be reachable by service vehicles at least.
- I don't know of a way to connect footpaths to bridges yet, so you may need some kinda awkward overpasses.
- You could use Traffic Manager to adjust speed and possibly ban road traffic to the station?

Wow! That's a great setup! I can use some move-it stuff to get those paths more lined up. I wonder if I can use a mod to make the highway zoneable and able to place the station that way so it's all consistent.

There is a zonable highway on the workshop

Zoning toolset allows you to turn any road as zoned road / unzoned road
