Do you need a Water Pump with Water Treatment Plant?
Ok, so my people have been slowly killing themselves lately and I've had no idea. I'd assume old age isn't the reason why since they show up sick for a while before they die. And this has lasted in the same area for about 6 in-game months now.

After realising EVERYTHING is fine, I came to the assumption that the Water Pumps may not be needed and the Water Treatment Plants pump the water themselves, correct?

If I am correct, I feel like I need to cry xD

You still need a water pump to pump the water around your city. The water treatment pump is more expensive but it treats the dirty water before dumping it back into the sea/river. So the water is less dirty when it comes out.
It's up to you whether you use the water treatment pump or the sewage pump, but you have to use one or the other.

Hope that helps.

P.S - Make sure your water pump is placed up stream and the sewage one down stream

Omfg.... I just didn't read the description on the Treatment Plant xD I thought it was the same as Water Pump xD So I had about 20 poluting an entire river! Fixed it now and nobody's dying. Thanks for all your help :)
You aren't the first person to think the treatment plant was a better water pump, rather than a better water outlet.
