Water stream direction

My game no longer tells me the direction of water flow. Where and how do I enable back water direction flow?

A good way to tell is by selecting the dam under the power tab.

Now that's the weird part. Even doing that didn't show me water flow.. Bug?

Before saying that this issue is a bug you first need to rule out if it is being caused by a mod conflict.

If you mean that you see no arrows then this can mean that water isnt flowwing where it used to be (and is now stable). A few things which can causes this are building a dam/duming too much sewage downstream. Or by building too many water pumps up stream.
