Constant Crashing (also Causing Google Chrome to crash)

I know i've had constant problems with cities skyline for months now but it was still able to give me time to play. Now it's totally different. It's almost impossible to play now. If i start a new game, It'll either crash within minutes after loading the game or instant crashing whilst loading. This also goes for accessing my old game saves too. I've done everything now and no updates are out yet.
I've:

• Closed everything i'm not using
  
• Verified Game
  
• disabled assets and Mods i'm not using

Yet neither of this helps.
Another problem is Google Chrome (and other browsers). The game seems to crash it as well when the game crashes at the same time. I don't know why and how it happens.

Do you have a lot of assets/mods added to your game? The first thing I'd try is unsubscribing from some mods/assets. How much ram do you have, and how much is the system using?

OP...delete old save games and try to start the game

I have plenty and I've already unsubscribed to some already.

I have around 8GB ram.

is it working now? I'm curious to know, Katyann... btw I've heard of Chrome causing crashes to other games... i'm not a big gamer myself... i'm just hooked on Cities ... the best :) :)

Nope just crashed big time again. I even closed chrome and it's still crashing. Had to restart!

Working for me with 8GB of RAM, but I have a small city and am not trying to run other programs. This game is VERY heavy on RAM usage, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't enough. People with 16GB of RAM are using more than 12GB.

I also have 8GB RAM but i also have Spotify open in the background. I use Chrome all the time with this game running and it doesn't give that much trouble when i do. But now I can't even play Cities Skyline without shutting down Chrome and doing everything on Opera (uses less memory).

Update: Game works now but only when Chrome is closed.
