Riverrun map good for beginers ?

is the map riverrun a good map for beginners ?

All the built in maps are decent for beginners. None of them are particularly constrained. The question with the built in maps isn't "are they good for beginners" it is "Does it look fun to you?" So much depends on what you are trying to accomplish and what you think of as a good city. Personally, I like "Islands" because it has, well, a nice island, kinda like a Manhattan island. It is also the only default map where you can build a 1600MW dam.
