How to disable workshop assets in default style?
It seems that whenever I enable workshop assets (e.g. a special building that's low density commercial), it may spawn in any low density commercial zones in my city. Is there any way to limit such buildings / assets to spawn only in certain district styles of my city?

This is because I am thinking of creating different "city style" neighborhoods in my city, e.g. a Japanese neighborhood or a Soviet style neightborhood but I believe if I download and enable Japanese / Soviet style workshop assets, these special Japanese / Soviet buildings may pop up anywhere on the map?

The only solution I can think of is to create a new "American" style (without any mods / assets) and change all my districts from default to American. Then when I install special assets such a Japanese style building, I will add it to a new Japanese district style and apply this Japanese district style to only those districts which I plan to turn into Little Tokyo.

I assume this should work, but I also wonder if anyone has a more straightforward solution. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to encounter this "issue"

Thank you!

Japan and Russia both have contemporary styled buildings. It's not American, it's contemporary.

Use this as well, to add buildings in (and disable them) into any style on the fly -

Thank you!

To Starwing6: Well, it does seem that the default buildings are mostly American urban style. Not saying that American is default in the real world (of course it's not!). I mean, I'm not American myself.
