Can people not read the Store page.

I'm sorry if this sounds unhelpful, but have a go. Read the Store page and come back here if you have any questions.

Looked at the store page got one more question does deluxe include DLC or have any other affect besides the five monuments sound track and sketch book?

Normal. With Deluxe you get 5 additional buildings, and artbook and the soundtrack. The price for the Deluxe version is way too high to justify this. The artbook is nice to open 2 minutes in PDF viewer and then you never touch it again. The 5 additional buildings just attract tourists and otherwise do nothing. 5 buildings is also not a lot on the context of this game. Most important, there are much more and much nicer tourist attracting buildings in the workshop, for free.

IMO Paradox either should drop the price of the Deluxe to about €1, or enhance it.

Sorry to add to Greygor's pessimism but... search and read before you post. This has been asked several times before :P

To answer your questions though.

None, Deluxe just has those extra goodies and it doesn't include After Dark.

Yeah that's pretty much it, I got it not for the value, but just to add support fro CO because I want to see them do well.

Glad you didn't take our phrasing badly, it wasn't you, it was the 20 other people before you :steamhappy:

As if the price for the game by itself wasn't exorbitant enough

Is it possible to downgrade from the Deluxe version to the regular version?

Or if not, how long does it take for Steam to process a return? If I return my deluxe copy will it go through fast enough for me to still get the regular version at the sale price and only get gouged a little?
Finwickle Oct 3, 2015 @ 4:36pm
The price was fine, much better than most games. And I doubt you really want the game at all, Bohandas, seeing your other posts.
However, from the Steam refund FAQ: "You will be issued a full refund of your purchase within a week of approval."

I'm only thinking so seriously about returning it because I feel like I got ripped off. If it was a ten dollar game or even fifteen (the price I would've payed if I hadn't initially gotten suckered into buying it with the worthless deluxe upgrade)

Meanwhile I'm sure Bohandas didn't mind paying upwards of 60$ for Simcity...

Hypocrisy at its finest.

You mean SimCity 5? Hell no! Why? Were the rest of you stupid enough to buy that turd? That explains a lot.
Bohandas Oct 3, 2015 @ 7:21pm
Is that really your benchmark for a good game? That it's not as bad as SimCity 5?
Bohandas Oct 3, 2015 @ 7:26pm
I wouldn't pick up SimCity 5 if it was completely free. Whereas this I'd gladly pay up to 12 dollars for. (which would still be the first time in a long time that I'd paid more than ten dollars for any game)
