So a modder would probably have to make duplicates of every piece of road type, without lights - Unless of course someone finds a clever fix.
Interstate would like a word, Rhedd. And no - Most roads outside of city limits do not have lights. At least not after a mile or two.
Belgium is the odd country out as I understand from the previous thread. UK, US, Denmark (and so on) do not. It's a waste of power anyway.
UK has motorway lights near important or large junctions/intersections. It is only the stetches of road away from these that is sometimes unlit. Usually if the motorway is passing through countryside.
I have to agree when it comes to german Highways outside of the city limits ...
there are just the lights of the cars themselves.
Differently for Autobahn passages within city limits however
