How do I make that paper?
Not slang. But literal paper. I've got paper processors all over but can't seem to store any & my special factories are often running out.

Do you have paper warehouses?

@ MrMonday

I will try to implement this. But I thought I had plenty of storage already.

What level is your forestry industry? The level and the number of worker's barracks plays a large part in how much raw materials and processed materials is produced. The higher the level, and the more worker's barracks (up to 20) you have, the more you produce and the more storage, both raw and processed, that you need.

Now I hadn't thought of workers being the problem. I will take a look at that.

The Biomass Pellet Plant and the Pulp Mill will both produce paper products and the Warehouse can be set to store either paper or timber. Four processors (2&2)and two warehouses (1&1) should be all you should ever need. Except BUYER's that is.

I usually try to provide four outside cargo train connections that easily handle all I can produce.

Problem evidently was I didn't have enough warehouses w/generic forestry products. When I plopped one each for forest, farm & ore ( I was seeing the same problem w/flour & plastics), the paper warehouses started filling up. Weird.

I did say that more storage is need, especially as your industries level up. An example of this is say the level 1 large ore mine which produces 11,200 units of ore per week. Add 20 worker's barracks, and at level 5 that large ore mine now can produce 25,984 units of ore per week.

@whiteknight. Yeah, but you specifically said paper storage. I had plenty of storage for paper, flour, metals, timber. But it wasn't getting filled. When I plopped those for zoned products, evidently my generic industry started draining from those & not for the specific processed resources. So now I could build up a storehouse of those items.

I'm guessing that is how the game works, anyway.

If you have the Industries DLC, you really do not need the specialized industries as both feed commercial zones. Now remember, your city will run completely without commercial, but you need industry to give residents a place to work. Also, some generic and specialized industry also gives one a way to make their city look unique. If you like generic industry and want a different look, the Industrial Evolution CCP by Avanya has some great looking buildings.

@WhiteKnight. Thanks but evidently I did need them because, like I said, it fixed the problem. But thanks for seeking to help.
