Space already ocupied.
Please advise why this happens. I'm trying to place a railway line on the surface from the upgraded train station. I've cleared trees, the metro under ground line but it wont lay the track.
Many thanks

There's something in the way. like you plopped something and the track is running into it.

try relocating and see if it works.

Can you post a screenshot? That'll be a lot easier to help you.

But from what I can imagine, you might have 'snapping' turned off, and you're not connecting to the existing rail (from the station) properly. With snapping turned off, you need to be very precise with your mouse movements in order to make a proper conection to an existing piece of rail/road etc.

If this is indeed the case, then turn snapping back on (availlable through the UI when you're building the rail) and try again.

Be aware if you are trying to connect a regular train track to a metro track Or the other way around, the message you will receive is "Space already occupied". You can not mix the two.
