Paradox Launcher V2 installing itself?

So i noticed suddenly on my Desktop that there is a shortcut of a "Paradox Launcher V2" that I don`t recall installing but then again, knowing I started playing C:SL1 a few days agi, I figured that this is where it came from tho, I am concerned if this is okay or if I should remove the launcher since I play the game through steam

what do you guys think??

The Paradox Launcher isn't harmfull, but many find it to be annoying. It only serves as a means for Paradox to throw commercials of its releases into your face...

Removing the launcher often causes more problems than do you good. So removing it isn't advised. However, it is possible to bypass the launcher. This way you do not have to get confronted by it. Take five minutes of your time and follow this guide.
