Trees not being destroyed when building roads (SOLVED)

I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Everytime I build roads the trees remain where they are, they sit on the roads and buildings. It's like the game is forgetting to delete them when things are built.

I have deleted any mods that I thought would be causing it. I recently installed a tree brush mod and terraforming mod and the issue popped up a day after the installation. However, uninstalling these has no effect. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes same here for the past few days. I just started a new downloaded map and I kinda put it down to that without thinking about it too much. Its getting annoying now though and would like it fixed.

Do you happen to have Prop & Tree Anarchy mode? It may well be the culprit as it is on by defaut - Shift-P turns it off and it seems to solve that issue - at least on my rig...

Glad you got it fixed. I had the same problem a little while ago but found it was indeed the prop/tree anarchy to blame.

Is there any way to switch the anarchy on and off within the game? Like switch it off while building, then switch it on to touch up some things, then off again? Without having to exit to the main menu? I'm pretty sure you'd have to go to the menu and content manager.

Not sure, all I did was disable it since I didn't find myself using it that much.

Well I first disabled the prop tree anarchy, no luck, then I completely removed it and still got rocks and broken trees in the middle of roads.
plus before I cleaned out all workshop content and re-subscribed maps were working fine with that mod.

Hi everyone.. i quote the previous comment. I unsubscribed the mod "prop and tree anarchy" (and restart the pc) and the trees are now regulary destoryed but its not the same for the rocks. So when I build a road, the rocks are not being destroyed, which is incredibly annoying.

Any indea on how can i fix it please?

The issue still appears for me. Even I´ve recognized that you are getting new trees and so on if you are touching a street and move it or if you are placing a new street. This is valid for train tracks as well. Urgend support is needed here otherwise the buldozer will be the most used tool in this game due to removing all corresponding trees, rocks and so on. The Prop & Tree Anarchy mode was switched off. Is there something els what I can do?

I had this issue and fixed it really fast, go into Prop And Tree Anarchy and where it says Anarchy is always on, make sure that is off. Should now remove trees when putting down roads!

Yes I see its really old but I wanted to say how I fixed it incase someone else ran into the same issue
