Tropical Detailing

I'm doing a tropical city. And I don't really know what plants and trees go together or wouldn't realistically be together. Aldo what to use as a filler at the base of a tree. Right now I simply have trees placed by themselves with nothing around the tree trunk. Anybody have any ideas about this or some assets to get for fillers? I have just about every palm tree I can think of.

I recommend using the 'Forest Brush Revisited' mod, and make a nice selection of the following plants.
