Touchpad support?
Probably it's too late, and it's a my wish for the next game.
But after Apple M1 chips released, we can play this game on MacBooks with really excellent performance, literally hours without charging. What is not excellent, is that you are not able to fully control your map with a touchpad (which is a main tool on MacBooks btw instead of mice on windows), and moreover, the secondary click doesn't work for me. Just imagine the same level of control as in Apple Maps, with pinch-to-zoom, two fingers angling, three fingers rotation, etc.
I really hope you'll implement it, for windows laptops as well.

hehe

I can't bring my mouse literally everywhere (it's a laptop actually), especially because I don't need it in any other task

I have 2 laptops, and both have wired mice and they go everywhere together.

I have been able to get all of the camera controls on my MacBook Pro through the trackpad.

Here is an old discussion that describes a lot of options:

For me: dragging two fingers up/down on the trackpad does zoom in/out (like mouse scroll wheel), clicking with two fingers on the trackpad does the right click (not sure why yours doesn't work, maybe check System Preferences for trackpad), setting the "Rotate Camera Modifier" keymapping in Cities Skylines Options panel (I used `) allows me to hold that modifier key with two finger click and hold on the trackpad to free rotate the camera.

However, with all this I mainly use the keyboard mappings for the camera controls.
