I can't bring my mouse literally everywhere (it's a laptop actually), especially because I don't need it in any other task
I have been able to get all of the camera controls on my MacBook Pro through the trackpad.
Here is an old discussion that describes a lot of options:

For me: dragging two fingers up/down on the trackpad does zoom in/out (like mouse scroll wheel), clicking with two fingers on the trackpad does the right click (not sure why yours doesn't work, maybe check System Preferences for trackpad), setting the "Rotate Camera Modifier" keymapping in Cities Skylines Options panel (I used `) allows me to hold that modifier key with two finger click and hold on the trackpad to free rotate the camera.
However, with all this I mainly use the keyboard mappings for the camera controls.
