Building view stuck in underground view
Hello, whenever I try and build a new building- the view switches to underground and there seems to be nothing I can do to see it from above ground - this is only when placing a building.
I have tried page up etc but to no avail. If anybody could help, thank you.

Try pressing PgUp a few times, perhaps your view level is underground due to previously building a tunnel.

Sometimes the Home key helps me in places where it keeps insisting on showing underground even though I'm at zero elevation.

Any updates on this thread? I'm having this issue anytime I go to build a building, its underground/blueprint view... I recall a mod that helped with this, but I don't remember what it is called

Do you also have this when using the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods set in Steam? It's normal that the game displays an overlay for specific buildings, like a fire station enabling the infoview for fire risk for example.

How To Set Launch Options
  • Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  • Enter the launch options you wish to apply in the box (be sure to separate each code with a space). Should look like this:
    -noWorkshop -disableMods
  • Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.
