Are 4 way intersections (cross roads) a no

I remember in the new SimCity we couldn't make 4 way intersections due to the horrible traffic issues it caused. Is that the same in Cities? Should we be avoiding them at all costs or are they ok to do here and there?

I would say make them to your hearts content, and if you end up with bad traffic at some then maybe deal with just those specific ones by changing them.

For lower traffic like low dens residential areas they are completely fine but for high traffic not so much

Just use highway roundabouts in high density areas instead of a 4 way intersection.Only use them in low density areas.Other than that i would stick to 3-way intersections , if it creates traffic lights remove them with traffic manger and you should have a good flow even in high density areas.
